Today was a busy day! First up my school percussion ensemble was playing at the school fete, so Charles and I went along and I conducted. They went so well!
Then we went to my friend Jean’s 80th birthday party! She was actually the person who gave me the fabric I made this dress out of!
This is the Colette Hawthorn. I love this dress, it fits me perfectly and I’m so happy with how I made it.

Thank you! The fabric is a seersucker, it's pretty good to work with despite the woven-in crinkles. They don't iron out!
