I have had to take a sicky today. I did wear a dress but was too busy and sick to take a photo. That is, when I wasn’t teaching or at my pattern making class, I was zonked out on the couch with tea and tissues.

Internet problems!
Dear friends, I have been unable to update the blog with pictures these last few days! Our home Internet is out and I can’t access with my laptop – which is where the photos are. I’m writing this on my iPad blogger app!
Photo from recording today!
Out and about – recent snaps
Charles and I did a little performance of his ipad works at a gallery opening. Rad photo from our friend Rohan!

It was my birthday the other week and my awesome Mum made me a sewing machine birthday cake!! Because I got a sewing machine recently!
Cute photo of terraniums and succulents, in the fashionable part of town.
We made an amazing dinner of Bolognese Mac ‘n’ Cheese from this website, and it was pretty rad, yummy, dense, and lasted us for about four meals each. Srsly delicious you guys.

My first thing – a little soot ball.

Miracle Nail oil
My nails have been really splitty and gross and weak. I’ve tried a bunch of things to strengthen them and stop the peeling, but so far nothing has worked.
Things that haven’t worked: moisturising my hands; not wearing nail polish; using Sally Hansen nail hardener; using Sally Hansen nail thickener; using rubber gloves while doing the dishes; eating vitamin C; trimming my nails short; and being generally careful not to knock my nails.
I saw this nail oil which claimed to produce flexible, supple, and shiny nails within 7 days. I’ve been using this for about 4 days and I haven’t had any chipping or peeling at all. I’m REALLY EXCITED to have nice nails again.
Link! Not sponsored, obviously, I’m just super excited to have nice nails again 🙂
