I wanted to have a recording of me playing in concert practice, but when I listened to the CD, they missed me out. So here are the back ends of my timpani mallets. They have been wrapped with latex and glued. This is so that I can play with the butt ends of my sticks and not damage the timpani skins. There’s also a better tone than there would be if it was left unwrapped.

What, Chrissy? That’s just a plain ol’ Pro-mark stick bag. Right? You didn’t MAKE THAT. No, I didn’t. BUT I DID MODIFY IT. It is a stick bag no longer!

Look how wide it is! It’s like 8cm wide now. I cut out the zip, and sewed fabric along the edges, then sewed in a new zip. Now it’s a MALLET bag!
