Look! I made a dress! Not the best photo but there you go. I think the dress is okay! My first attempt at dressmaking WITH A REAL PATTERN. I’m not even showing my other attempts. They are the sort of thing that make me cringe when I catch sight of them in the cupboard. Then I remember the time I actually wore one of them. Why did I do that? I don’t know.

Earrings!
It’s been so long since I blogged about anything! But here are some earrings I made with buttons!
Day 40 – it’s over!
I used this tutorial by Laupre to make some buttoned leg warmers! To wear with a skirt and stockings. They’re really warm! Any excuse to go out and buy some buttons.

An Easter card for my parents. A feeble attempt at a pop-up card.
Day 38
I wanted to have a recording of me playing in concert practice, but when I listened to the CD, they missed me out. So here are the back ends of my timpani mallets. They have been wrapped with latex and glued. This is so that I can play with the butt ends of my sticks and not damage the timpani skins. There’s also a better tone than there would be if it was left unwrapped.
