Saturday, Frocktober the 26th!

Today was a busy day!  First up my school percussion ensemble was playing at the school fete, so Charles and I went along and I conducted.  They went so well!
Then we went to my friend Jean’s 80th birthday party!  She was actually the person who gave me the fabric I made this dress out of!
This is the Colette Hawthorn.  I love this dress, it fits me perfectly and I’m so happy with how I made it.
Hope you’re having a good weekend!  Please remember to donate to my frocktober page here.  Frocktober is nearly over!

Wednesdy, Frocktober the 23rd!

I’m back!  The internet is back on!  On Wednesday I wore this heavy grey dress with my teal cardigan. It was SUPER WINDY on Wednesday, so I needed something that wouldn’t blow around!
I was kinda cold so to show you the top you can see one shoulder.  As you can see, it has those interesting neck pleats just like my Luck Be A Lady dresses, except it is not that brand!  It has a different fabric and also a different cut of skirt.

Internet problems!

Dear friends, I have been unable to update the blog with pictures these last few days! Our home Internet is out and I can’t access with my laptop – which is where the photos are. I’m writing this on my iPad blogger app!

Rest assured that I’m still wearing my frocks! Yesterday was a heavy grey dress – heavy because it was extremely windy and I didn’t want any flashing accidents! And today I wore a basic grey/red tartan dress.
Hopefully the Internet will be back tomorrow. Then I’ll do 3 posts in a row!  Thank you for your patience.
